On 14th April 2026, Vital Minds Initiative teamed up with Psalms Food Industries to sponsor the student-led public lecture titled “One-on-One Chicken Talk: Thriving Not Just Surviving” at Makerere University’s College of Technology and Facilities (CTF2). The dynamic peer-led platform attracted over 200 students for raw conversations on the realities of modern campus life.
Organized by final-year Psychology students, the peer-to-peer panels focused on dismantling mental health stigma, advancing academic resilience, financial planning, preventing substance abuse, and encouraging sexual responsibility. VMI energized the crowded auditorium by deploying a large inventory of Sumz Snacks, building a secure, lively environment where students felt comfortable addressing personal growth challenges openly.
